The benefits of yarrow

Boymadərən

Today, yarrow is one of the plants that scientists around the world are studying more deeply and extensively. Its sphere of influence is so wide that research has resulted in the discovery of new active substances and the expansion of the field of application of this plant.

It is widespread in Europe, America, and Azerbaijan.

It grows mostly around gardens and kitchen gardens. Although white and yellow yarrows are more common in Azerbaijan, the one which is used in medicine is the white yarrow.

Yarrow mostly contains ether compounds, especially azulene, sineol, limonene, borneol, chamazulene. Due to this, the plant has a bactericidal and anti-inflammatory effect.

In gynecological diseases

Pregnancy prevents menstrual disorders in women; it is used as the most effective remedy to restore the broken cycle. It is used in the treatment of inflammatory discharge from the uterus and cervical erosion. For this purpose, yarrow infusion or 10% aqueous infusion is taken both internally and the uterus is washed in the form of a syringe. The infusion is used to relieve the pain of menopause. Infusion is used in all inflammatory diseases of the female reproductive system.

In skin diseases

The bitter substances in yarrow have a lethal effect on parasitic microorganisms on the skin. Infuse 50 grams of yarrow in 500 ml of water and rub warmly with gauze all over the body. Or infuse 200 grams of herbs in 3 liters of water, add it to the bath filled with warm water and take a bath for 20 minutes. This procedure destroys parasites on the skin, eliminates bad odors, and refreshes the skin.

In diseases like inflammation of the esophagus, gastritis, colitis, and non-specific intestinal ulcers, the use of yarrow tea gives excellent results as an anti-inflammatory agent. It is a very effective remedy to keep patients away from long-term hormonal treatment without side effects. In non-specific intestinal ulcers, tea made from a mixture of a little narrow, a little calendula, and a little shepherd’s purse gives better results. Due to its rich content of others, it is considered to be a very effective anti-inflammatory and anti-flatulence agent. As the Herba Flora company, we have separated the ether compounds of yarrow and made yarrow arrack, which is indispensable for all types of flatulence regardless of its origin. I would also like to note that in recent years, this drink has become widely used in Europe. It has an appetizing effect when drunk before meals.

In worm diseases

A 10% infusion of yarrow is drunk as a worm repellent. For this purpose, drink a glass of infusion three times a day before meals for a week.

In bronchitis

Grind 200 grams of yarrow into a powder, add half a kilogram of honey and prepare a paste. Eat a teaspoon of this paste 3 times a day before meals.

In rashes, acne, demodex

Infuse a tablespoon of yarrow in a cup of water, cool it and wipe the rash with a cotton swab soaked in the infusion 4-5 times a day. It has a lethal effect on demodex ticks. Infusion prepared in this ratio is also effective in the treatment of wounds.

Infusion of narrow is also useful in major circulatory disorders and relieves cold and chills in the hands and feet. It is used in sickness, nosebleeds and conjunctivitis.

Its aqueous infusion is taken orally in all inflammatory diseases.

Ferula root is widespread in Azerbaijan, mainly in Nakhchivan, Guba and Gusar. Although it is bitter, it makes a tasty and appetizing pickle. The roots of the ferula are used for healing purposes. The infusion of the roots in water has a worm repellent and appetizing effect, strengthens the immune system and relieves chronic cough; it is rich in antioxidants and is used in the treatment and prevention of cancer.

Mix 200 grams of dried ferula roots with a kilo of honey and eat a teaspoon of it three times a day before meals. This paste can also be used to increase the number of motile germ cells in the treatment of infertility.
