Ascarid helminth

Askarid qurdu müalicəsi profilaktikası

During the infection with Ascarid worms, one of the most common parasites, there can be several hundred worms in the gut. When eggs fall to the ground in the feces, they retain their infectivity for 15 years. The larvae emerge from the swallowed eggs in the small intestine, then penetrate the intestinal wall and spread to the organs through the blood, penetrate the capillaries and enter the respiratory tract in 8-10 hours. Then, moving towards the mouth, it mixes with the saliva and is swallowed again, and reaches the small intestine again and, as they say, begins to live its real life.

Within 2 months, sexually mature ascarids are formed in the intestines from the larvae. The lifespan of ascarids living in the intestine is one year. In the absence of re-infection, the ascarids are eliminated from the body in one year. Adult ascarids damage the intestinal mucosa and feed on ready-to-digest food, vitamins and minerals in the gut, releasing their own feces instead. As a result, intestinal erosion, ulcers, constipation or diarrhea, toothache, nausea, vomiting, skin rashes, itching, blemishes, hair loss, anemia, dizziness and fatigue occur. Ascarids sometimes multiply to such an extent that they mix with each other to form intestinal obstruction.

Ascarid larvae feed on blood. They can even drink half a liter of blood a day which is very dangerous. Most doctors sometimes treat its symptoms for years while the worms, the source of all the symptoms, are not even taken into account.

Blood tests are sometimes used to diagnose ascariasis, but it is best to have both feces and blood tested. After treatment, it is enough to analyze the feces alone because antibodies are formed in the blood a month after infection with worms, and even after the destruction of the worms, the presence of them in the blood for a long time leads to excessive and unnecessary treatment.

Prophylaxis

To protect against parasites, fruits should be washed clean. It is better to wash the greens after soaking them in water with 2-3 tablespoons of apple vinegar for 2-3 hours. Children’s nails should be clipped and they should sleep in pajamas. Children need to be taught to wash with cold water after defecating because after washing with cold water, the worms are forced to lay their eggs in the rectum, not around the anus, and eventually get rid of the worms naturally. If one person in the family has such a worm, everyone at home should be treated.

Treatment

Early in the morning, children should eat 50 and adults 100 grams of pumpkin seeds. After half an hour, a teaspoon of senna leaves for children and a tablespoon for adults should be infused in a glass of water. The procedure is performed for 3 days and repeated for another 3 days after a break of 10 days. During treatment, the person develops sickness, and the worms also experience sickness and release the intestinal piles, and the worms shed after using a laxative.

Pour an equal amount of milk and apple vinegar mixture on 100 grams of pumpkin seeds and mix until the paste is obtained. Eat it on an empty stomach in the morning for 3 days, and drink senna tea half an hour later.

Infusions of tansy, yarrow, centaury, common wormwood and calendula help to get rid of ascarid worms. Mix 100 grams of each of the herbs I mentioned; boil a teaspoon of the mixture in a cup of water for 3-5 minutes and drink a cup 3 times a day before meals. The duration of the treatment is 10 days; it can be repeated after a break of 15 days. In addition, it is better to take ‘Teazol’ tea made from a mixture of mild laxatives and wormwood. Adults should infuse one filter-pack of ‘Teazol’ tea in a glass of hot water 3 times a day and children twice a day. The treatment lasts 10 days. After 2 weeks, it is necessary to analyze the feces and check the result.
