Therapeutic pillows (Aromatherapy)

Probably everyone wants to stay longer and sleep a little when they see a place with flowers, good aroma and beautiful scenery. Aromatherapy is also a method of treatment. Aromatherapy can treat nervous exhaustion, tension, insomnia, panic attacks, anxiety, headaches and other ailments, and most importantly, you can be treated by enjoying the process. If you are in a place with flowers in spring and summer, collect the flowers, dry them in the shade and make small pillows and put them under your head every night when you go to bed. By the way, you can also buy herbs from pharmacies and make pillows. Below you can read which plants to buy and for which diseases they are used.

Hopes cones.

Yeast is sold in pharmacies as a sedative and hypnotic plant. It makes a very soft pillow and has a therapeutic effect, giving a unique rustle and aroma as you move your head. The pillow both relieves nervous tension and deepens sleep.

Rose petals.

Rose petals nourish the heart; they are an excellent remedy for those suffering from diseases of the cardiovascular system. To make it a little softer, you can mix it with the equal amount of linden flowers (taking about 150 grams of each) and make a pillow.

Oregano.

Oregano has a beautiful aroma. Normally, one of the effective means in the oregano plant is the ether compounds it contains. And it is the effect of these ether compounds on the pillow that causes deep sleep. It also increases men’s sexual desire.

Lavender.

Lavender itself and both its flowers and seeds have a wonderful aroma. Lavender itself is a sedative. Its pillows placed under the head also have a sedative and hypotensive effect. You can also put about 100 grams of lavender flowers into a piece of cloth and hang it in the bedroom. Fill lavender flowers into small 15-20 gram bags and place them next to small children’s pillows. It also has a hypnotic and sedative effect on children.

 Mint leaves.

The menthol compounds in mint leaves are a wonderful aromatherapy and have a disinfectant effect on the room air. In the summer months, sleeping on mint pillows gives a special pleasure as if it has a cooling effect on the air we breathe.

Geranium leaves.

Geranium is a potted plant. If you throw one geranium leaf in the tea you infuse, the aroma of the tea will change completely. Tea with geranium is my favorite kind of tea. Dry the geranium leaves in a deep shade and make a pillow. This pillow is so fragrant that it affects the air of the room it is kept in. But remember that geraniol in geranium can irritate those who suffer from asthma.

Aquilaria Agallocha smoke.

Many people do not like the smell of Aquilaria Agallocha, but the smell of its smoke is a very strong disinfectant and antimicrobial. It has been used as a steam plant since ancient times. If someone at home is afflicted with the flu, spread the smoke of Aquilaria Agallocha in the room so that no one catches the flu.

Lemon + salt.

Before going to bed, put two lemons on a plate and slice them in 8 pieces, sprinkle about 50 grams of salt on it and place it next to the bed where you are sleeping. You will experience an amazing aromatherapy. The aroma of lemon will spread all around the room and you will have a great sleep. When you wake up in the morning, you will feel freshness in the room instead of heavy air.

Crystal Nakhchivan salt.

Put 3-4 kilograms of Crystal Nakhchivan salt in the room where you sleep. Sometimes they make it even more wonderful by putting special lamps inside the crystal. Nakhchivan salt neutralizes the positive ions emitted by computers, televisions and Wi-Fi devices in the room, and partially prevents our brain from receiving radiation by emitting negative ions. Be sure to turn off the Wi-Fi device before going to bed, do not put a mobile phone next to you, and if you have to put it (for alarm clock etc.), switch on the flight configuration. Never put a TV in the bedroom. Sometimes artificial air fresheners are sprayed into the room before going to bed. Do not do this at all; they are all allergens which make it difficult to breathe while sleeping.
