Benefits of therapeutic massage

masajın faydaları

Let me remind you that 90% of the massages performed in the world are medical massages, and doctors in Europe prescribe massage as a treatment. Massage is a form of treatment, so haphazard and spontaneous massage can do more harm than good.

·        Blood circulation in the massaged areas is accelerated, the particles that impede blood circulation are absorbed back, and thus the work of our heart becomes extremely easy.

·        Massage increases the hormones of happiness in the body, reduces pain and, most importantly, relieves stress and deepens sleep.

·        Massage improves the blood supply to the muscles, thereby eliminating muscle spasms.

·        As a result of disruption of nerve innervation, thinning occurs in the legs and arms, for which massage is the most effective treatment.

·        Massage melts fats. For example, massage is useful when the abdomen, subcutaneous fat etc. are protruding too much.

·        Massage is also useful to eliminate cellulite.

·        Massaging the whole body for at least an hour and a half increases a person’s immunity, relaxes the cardiovascular system, improves the filter function of the liver and keeps the skin fresh.

Massage can be done both dry and with different oils. If we take into account the increase in skin absorption during the massage, then a massage with all-natural oils will be more effective, for example, with olive oil. I do not recommend massaging with petroleum oils, liquid paraffin because such oils are absorbed into the skin and cause vascular blockages. Our Prophet (Peace and Bless be upon him) always massaged himself with olive oil and recommended it to his ummah[12]. The massage is performed first by stroking, then pinching, then superficial pressure, then twisting, then tapping and slowly increasing the tapping, then slapping with the palm of the hand, then tapping with alternating fingers and back. Massage should not be done suddenly and deeply. It should be superficial first, then slowly deepen, and finally superficial again. At the end of the massage, the skin should get red.
