The melon activates the intestines, cleanses the intestinal slag, and therefore, it is useful to those who have hemorrhoid; its beautiful aroma soothes the heart and improves mood. The substance that gives the melon its yellow color is beta carotene, which is converted into vitamin A in our body. It is very useful for eye nutrition disorders and various types of retinopathy. Beta-carotene is very useful for the skin, eyes and cerebral vessels. People who eat a lot of fruit have less wrinkles and their skin is brighter. The fruit is friendly to the liver and it is very useful for those suffering from liver failure. For those who suffer from obesity, eating melon before meals is effective since it is an excellent food to reduce elevated harmful cholesterol. It contains vitamin A, C and B complexes, and it is especially rich in vitamins B1 and B6. It is also very useful for people with bad nerves. The melon is useful for those who are depressed and suffer from insomnia. Vitamins K and E increase sexual desire and accelerate the formation of new blood, so it is useful for those suffering from anemia. The rich vitamin C in melons protects our body from various viruses and bacteria by acting as a shield for the body. The melon reduces the heart’s need for oxygen, increases the force of the heartbeat, and therefore, it is useful against circulatory disorders in edema of cardiac origin.          

The folic acid in melons prevents heart attacks, increases the amount of blood flowing to the brain, and improves brain nutrition; it is also useful for people with high blood pressure. It positively acts against cough. It normalizes menstrual disorders in women, stabilizes blood and improves organ nutrition. The rich beta-carotene in the fruit not only protects against cancer, but it is also very useful in the treatment of cancer. The melon increases the maturation of the follicle in women, so for women who suffer from immaturity of follicles, the fruit is an excellent healer. People who eat a lot of melon do not have skin diseases, iron deficiency, eczema, and melons not only prevent hair loss, but also cause hair to grow thick. It is better to eat it fresh. Melons are an undesirable fruit for diabetics, so they can eat very little. The most useful melon is the one that grows in summer, in hot weather. Remember that the genes of melons are not as modified as they are in watermelons. The more fragrant and sweet the melon, the more useful it is.
