The difference between fasting and dieting

This question may be confusing because you might think that dieting and fasting is already the same thing. But as you read this article, you will feel the differences and see the many benefits of fasting.

           When a human being fasts, he prepares his body for it. For example, the body knows that he must go hungry for 17 hours, and our stomachs already reduce the secretion of juice during meals, which over time returns to normal. To be precise, our body begins to obey our brain, and our brain takes complete control of the body.

           There are many benefits to this since man learns to be patient. But there is no such order when dieting. The secretion of juice during meals is the same as before which damages the gastrointestinal tract and the juice discharged on an empty stomach burns the stomach wall.

           Some people may not be able to eat lunch because of heavy workload or other problems. Then they should not think that they have received the benefits of fasting. In addition, the one who diets can put something in his mouth while dieting. Even a small amount of a simple thing in the mouth occupies our whole body for exactly 12 hours. But it is impossible to do during fasting.

           In the end, I would like to mention that every hour and every day of fasting has its benefits, and I will bring it to your attention from time to time.

           We should fast not for our health, but as submission to Allah’s command, and Allah will reward us both in this world and on the Day of Judgment if He wills.
