What to do during a cold

Taking certain precautions during a cold can help us to cope with the illness and to benefit from it. Taking advantage of a disease might sound strange but later you will see what I mean by this. In general, a temperature once or twice a year increases the body’s resistance, so an increase in temperature means keeping the body ready to fight diseases. The disease manifests itself with cough, head cold symptoms and fever. The demand for antibiotics grows when the disease becomes complicated. I would like to remind you that no antibiotics are useful in viral diseases. Do not waste your money to weaken your immune system. Each antibiotic kills both healthy (which benefits us) and diseased bacteria in the intestinal microflora, so immunity is lowered, and during a subsequent viral illness, the body becomes very ill and can have serious complications. Stay away from antibiotics as much as you can and make sure to consult your doctor. Vitamin C is one of the most widely used drugs in today’s viral illnesses. Remember that vitamin C sold in pharmacies is mostly artificially obtained vitamins. People in all developed countries have already reduced their intake of artificial vitamins and prefer fruit and fruit juice, which are rich in vitamin C. For example, it is very useful to drink drinks such as tangerine, orange and lemon juice sweetened with honey. Sometimes antibiotics are taken to prevent damage to a second organ during the illness, such as antritis or frontitis after the illness. In this case, you can use propolis. Propolis contains 21 natural antibiotics and has no side effects like artificial antibiotics. It only affects the diseased microorganisms and thus does not weaken our immune system. The benefits of the disease that is prevalent today are as follows: when the human body is sick, it becomes accustomed to fighting external factors, and a rise in temperature during the disease is a sign that the body is struggling. Do not try to lower the temperature as soon as it rises since the body mobilizes its strength in this case. Intervene only when it rises too high, because high temperatures cause the body to absorb toxins, and some people even have seizures when the temperature rises. You can use natural apple cider vinegar, half diluted with water, to lower the temperature, so you can often soak the patient’s arms and legs with apple cider vinegar. Taking a vinegar bath for the feet also gives good results. During the disease, try to give the patient plenty of water, because water causes the elimination of pathogens from the body. Drinking herbal tea containing saponins during the disease causes the disease to pass in a short time. Saponins are hormone-like substances. They eliminate weakness and fatigue in a short time and help the body to restore itself. Taking diaphoretic herbs along with the herbs rich in saponins helps to achieve good results. For example, licorice roots rich in saponins, chamomile, diaphoretic linden flower and thyme. It would be even better if you add hibiscus to taste the tea. The full composition should be as follows:

  • Licorice root – 50 grams
  • Chamomile – 100 grams
  • Linden flower – 200 grams
  • Thyme – 100 grams
  • Ginger – 50 grams
  • Hibiscus – 50 grams

Mix the herbs together, infuse 3 tablespoons of the mixture in 4 glasses of water and drink 1-2 glasses 3 times a day before meals.
