Hadiths of the Prophet (Peace and Blessing of Allah be upon him) regarding health

hədislər

The Prophet (Peace and Blessing of Allah be upon him) has many hadeeths about health, such as the rules of eating, feeding the sick, praying for the sick, preventing infections, and so on. I think it would be useful to collect such hadiths from time to time and keep them in mind.

1.     The Bedouin Arabs once asked, “O Messenger of Allah, would we be considered to be sinning if we were not treated when we fall ill.” The Prophet (Peace and Blessing of Allah be upon him) replied: “Seek a cure, O servants of Allah! Allah has given a cure for every disease except old age.”

2.     Uqba Ibn Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: “Our Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) said, ‘Do not force your patients to eat or drink, for Allah feeds them and makes them drink.’

3.      Sa’d Ibn Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever eats seven ajwa dates in the morning on an empty stomach will not be harmed by poison or magic until the evening.” (Muslim 2047)

4.     The Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Mushrooms are a kind of power halva (power halva is described in the Torah as a type of food similar to sweet bread tasting like honey), and its juice is healing to the eyes.” (Tirmidhi 2068)
