Is Zam-Zam ordinary water?

zəm-zəm

I will first tell you about the results of a study on the Zam-Zam[1] spring, and then about its benefits. The Zam-Zam spring is a gift from Allah to our mother Hajar, the wife of the Prophet Ibrahim, in the middle of the desert, which all Muslims still benefit from.

British scientists say that Zam-Zam water should not be drunk. They base their opinion on the fact that in Arab countries, because water flows from the walls, and not from the bottom of the well, its composition can often change. So it is not safe to drink such water. This water is thought to be the first layer of water (usually the composition of the first layer of water can change frequently). Scientists are then allowed to do research and put a high-speed water pump in the well to pull it out and prove that the water actually comes from the walls. But no matter how much the pump pulls, the water level does not decrease. Then they changed the pump and installed a more powerful one, but with no success. And then they install a bigger device, but they can’t finish water from the well. In the end, they come to the conclusion that this well is not an ordinary well. In an ordinary well water comes from the eyes and fills the well, but in the Zam-zam well water comes from the bottom of the well. Thus, they came to admit against their will that this well is a grace of Allah.

Zam-zam is a total source of healing. It never spoils even if you keep this water for years. I have Zam-Zam water, which I have been keeping in my house for more than 10 years, and it has not changed its taste. Because microbes do not grow in Zam-Zam water and bacteria and fungi cannot spread and multiply.

One day, one of the Companions had to drink Zam-Zam without eating for 30 days, and the Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) said that he had gained weight when he saw this Companion. The Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Zamzam is both water and food.”

Zam-zam water cleanses the body, removes gallstones and kidney stones and calms the nerves. The sweat of those who drink Zam-Zam water does not smell bad. It also alleviates headaches and has a healing effect on gastrointestinal ulcers. Due to the high content of silver in water, it has a positive effect on the development of the brain.
