Linden flower

Linden flower tea is one of the most widely consumed medicinal plants in the world and has a very interesting structure. Although linden flowers are more like leaves in shape, they are actually different in appearance and color from its true leaves. It has a very delicious taste, gives off the aroma of honey; it is drunk in the world more as a sedative, but it also has antiperspirant and emollient properties. Drinking a glass before going to bed in the evening deepens sleep, and it is an indispensable tool for those who suffer from colds of the body, hands and feet.

It is a widespread tree in Azerbaijan; linden trees are more in our regions such as Balakan, Zagatala, Astara and Dashkasan. Linden steam baths and saunas have a very pleasant aroma. In the past, they used to make chums from linden, and the butter of this chum smelled a bit of linden.

They conducted a very interesting experiment at the University of Chicago in America. Thus, patients with colds were divided into 3 groups: the first group was treated with antibiotics, the second group with antibiotics and linden tea, and the third group with only linden tea. As a result, the third group of patients treated with linden tea recovered quickly and had no complications.           Since linden flowers have no harmful effects, you can drink plenty of them during a cold until you sweat. Sweating occurs faster when drunk with cornel or raspberry jam. Linden also lowers blood pressure, and many users should add honey to the infusion taking this into account. It lowers the risen temperature and it is useful to drink tea when coughing and heart rate increase.
